<br />
Drawn in Manga Studio 4 Debut:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OHRFqAWaNkE/UAh9EBJTMUI/AAAAAAAAA2U/Yrn7Nv7v6qg/s1600/Power+Girl.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OHRFqAWaNkE/UAh9EBJTMUI/AAAAAAAAA2U/Yrn7Nv7v6qg/s320/Power+Girl.jpg" width="247" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I then realized that the buckle and strap that hold the cape were on the wrong side, so I fixed that up before coloring in Photoshop:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ya_tHIGlJHs/UBGWAGQV_XI/AAAAAAAAA2g/S-kaZS4UAIg/s1600/Power-Girl-color.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ya_tHIGlJHs/UBGWAGQV_XI/AAAAAAAAA2g/S-kaZS4UAIg/s320/Power-Girl-color.jpg" width="247" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I honestly can't remember the last time I drew superheroes, so this was a lot of fun.<br />EGKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01548718028805788636noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5393102046796953933.post-12842367867457723032012-04-16T22:18:00.000-04:002012-04-16T22:18:08.326-04:00A little more Space Marine colorsJust a wee bit more colors on the Space Marine drawing<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SQbw_2uKTCY/T4zSv_nd4QI/AAAAAAAAA2E/3qn4YJu0sQc/s1600/007.Space-Marine-wip-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear:left; float:left;margin-right:1em; margin-bottom:1em"><img border="0" height="200" width="132" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SQbw_2uKTCY/T4zSv_nd4QI/AAAAAAAAA2E/3qn4YJu0sQc/s200/007.Space-Marine-wip-4.jpg" /></a></div>EGKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01548718028805788636noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5393102046796953933.post-57347472828325819482012-04-16T22:15:00.000-04:002012-04-16T22:15:21.627-04:00I love Atomic Robo! (featuring Doctor Dinosaur)<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-F53BRDdu3TQ/T4zSMaXwE5I/AAAAAAAAA14/0kmtgjtHZ78/s1600/Atomic%2BRobo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear:left; float:left;margin-right:1em; margin-bottom:1em"><img border="0" height="200" width="141" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-F53BRDdu3TQ/T4zSMaXwE5I/AAAAAAAAA14/0kmtgjtHZ78/s200/Atomic%2BRobo.jpg" /></a></div><br />
I love Atomic Robo. Atomic Robo represents what comics seem to have forgotten - fun. Whether this eighty-year-old invention of Nikola Tesla is battling giant robots with evil Nazi brains, running away from Cthonic monsters from outside of the universe, or rescuing soldiers from the vampire dimension, there's a feeling of fun and awesomeness permeating every page and line of dialog.<br />
<br />
So here is Atomic Robo being pestered by his nemesis Doctor Dinosaur ("Crystals!").<br />
<br />
Now do yourself a favor and go get your grubby hands on some Atomic Robo. Your "awesome meter" will thank you. And remember - always assume it's mummies until proven otherwise.EGKhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01548718028805788636noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5393102046796953933.post-28784135528840475862012-04-16T22:14:00.000-04:002012-04-16T22:14:09.549-04:00Polgara the Sorceress<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9U4N0v5yGZw/T4zR37K6hkI/AAAAAAAAA1s/RzBNOXpFXVA/s1600/020.Polgara-sketch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear:left; float:left;margin-right:1em; margin-bottom:1em"><img border="0" height="200" width="141" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9U4N0v5yGZw/T4zR37K6hkI/AAAAAAAAA1s/RzBNOXpFXVA/s200/020.Polgara-sketch.jpg" /></a></div><br />
The Belgariad/Malloreon series of books by David and Leigh Eddings are among my absolute favorite stories, and I consider Polgara to be one of the best literary creations of all time.<br />
<br />
It took me forever to get a layout that I was comfortable with, but I think I finally got it.<br />
